Planned European Partnership on Social Transformations and Resilience (STR)
In the context of the EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation, Horizon Europe, the European Commission has proposed a new co-funded European Partnership on Social Transformations and Resilience (STR). This Partnership has been included as one of the nine new candidates to be launched under the Horizon Europe Strategic Plan 2025 - 2027.
The aim of STR Partnership is to address critical societal challenges by fostering interdisciplinary collaboration among the social sciences, humanities, and other fields. The four key topics for the partnership are the future of work, social security systems, education and skills and a fair transition to climate neutrality. The draft proposal for this planned partnership is available here.
To develop a corresponding Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda, the DLR Project Management Agency is now offering a community platform. Here, interested parties can find out about the status of the work and register their profile if they wish to make themselves available for interviews, workshops and thematic surveys.
