Survey on the feasibility study for the DPP system for construction products
The Regulation 305/2011 on construction products (CPR) established harmonised rules for the marketing of construction products in the EU, based on a common technical framework provided by harmonised specifications (generally European harmonised standards). These specifications defined the characteristics to be included in the declaration of performance of construction products.
The new CPR includes a digital product passport system for construction products, which can be centralised or desentralised, and use DPP service providers for its implementation. The DPP system for construction products is envisioned to be adopted within the framework of the new European Construction Products Regulation through the adoption of a future delegated act. The legal text set out additional rules about the system and its features.
A survey has been launched to gather information on the feasibility of an EU common database or system for the management of the Digital Product Passports (DPP) of construction products.
This survey is intended for organizations who will generate and issue DPP (manufacturers) and organizations using the DPP (designers, construction companies, public bodies, etc.).

The deadline for feedback is November 27.
